The surveyor came down on Friday from http://www.smallboatsurveys.com/ as planned and he liked what he saw so now it’s full steam ahead to get the decks on and turn the boat over for painting the bottom.
The main reason for turning the boat over again is because I need to put epoxy fillets between the deck arches and the deck inside the boat and it will be far easier with boat inverted.
I have put the first paint on today. The area underneath the seats won’t be accessible once the cockpit seats are on.The grey is primer for the bare wood surfaces and the white is the top coat bilge paint . I only did a small area of white to make sure it dries properly in these low temperature’s. It was 7.5 degrees in the workshop today . .
